upgrade 2.0 to 2.7 possible?

    Hi guys,

    A long time ago i installed version 2.0.11 of wordpress and i’ve been using it with great ease and joy. Lately i’ve seen some new features in the newest software and i want to upgrade my old version to the newest software.

    Is this possible? I haven’t upgraded since my first installation…

    It is possible, and in theory you can do it in one go. However, you may find that things work more smoothly if you visit the release archive and do a series of mini-upgrades between versions, so that you’re not making such a big leap.

    Also remember to back up your database first, so that you can revert and try again if needed.

    Also remember to disable all your plugins before you start, as some may be obsolete.
