Updraftplus does not back up

    I have twice downloaded the Updraftplus plugin for my WordPress site but it would not work with amazon AWS S3 and now it does not work with Dropbox either. The error message is:
    You do not appear to be authenticated with Dropbox
    Dropbox/Curl error: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed.

    Can anyone help please

    Hi Chrispen,

    The message is saying that Dropbox and Amazon S3’s SSL certificates could not be verified. This may mean that someone is MITM-ing your connection (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man-in-the-middle_attack). This is an issue you’ll need to take up with your web hosting provider. It is expected and desired behaviour for connections to be refused when the SSL certificates cannot be verified.
