    Hey all,

WP noobie here. I just recently got my WordPress account set up and I’m enjoying customizing my website. I’m hosting through DreamHost and I used their 1-click install to get everything up and running. My question is, how do I “link”(?) my website to the WordPress files I’ve installed onto my computer? Currently all of my editing is being done via my web browser at mydomain.com/wp-admin

Basically what I need this for is so I can add fonts and use the @font-face command, among other things. (this is the tutorial I’m following: http://justcreative.com/2013/01/22/how-to-use-custom-fonts-with-font-face-on-wordpress/)

Any step by step instructions would be great!

Also I might add, I have Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 if that helps

Are you running your own local web server? Or did you install WordPress on the Dreamhost server?

I’m doing everything directly through WordPress including my server. I’ve got all of the information about my server in an email from DreamHost

So what is that you are doing on your own computer?

If I read this right, you would upload them to DreamHost.

Ipstenu-DH I think you’ve got it covered! I’ll try that out and mark this as resolved if all is good.

Alright so Ipstenu-DH had me on the right track.

I connected my ftp server to Dreamweaver CS5 and was able to go into the fonts folder and add new fonts and now I can edit my website on my desktop and upload the files to my FTP.

    Thanks for your help!
