I had to do some pretty extensive customizations to the language for emails, pages, etc. (basically my client did NOT want the word "membership" to come up anywhere. (ps. this is a common occurence 3 of my clients now don't want it to say membership, cause one is a class and they are "students" and its just a pain to find all the occurances of "membership"). but maybe yall could build into the next release an option to choose the terminology used).
Here's my question, I know that emails can be downloaded, resaved using the titles given on the site tutorial, etc, but because i had to change alot of the pmpro default messages, subject lines and calls to reflect this change, how can i either (A) stop the updates or save all the files I needed to update to not be overwritten?
