Updating the new API url for twitter

    Hello,

    I just downloaded a theme which has a twitter widget built into the theme based on pownce but since the theme hasn’t been updated to the new API for the twitter feed it doesn’t feed to the site. I’ve tried contacting the creator but he doesn’t deal with coding/designing anymore.

    So i’ve been messing around with it but with no luck, either it spams errors or the site just doesn’t load. I was wondering if anyone could help me?

    I’ve uploaded the code to pastie if anyone can help me with this. If not no worries

    Hi Alpha55, if the developer doesn’t care about updating his theme then don’t use his theme.

    The fact is the new Twitter API requires authentication : I wrote an article about it : twitter API 1.1

    So if you feel comfortable with coding, you can have some hints here : documentation API

    If you don’t want to dive into code, just use Twitter widgets when logged in : widget Twitter
