Updating Plugin Issue (2 posts)

I selected "update" for all the outdated plugins on my site, but I mistakenly navigated away from the page before the updates were complete. Now the site is stuck in a permanent state of "Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute." It's been way more than a minute. Help?

Yes, using an FTP tool such as FileZilla or your host provided File Manager, remove the temp file .maintenance from the root of your website...then rename each plugin folder to old-plugin, upload a clean version, login to site, activate each.

Deactivate all plugins prior to updating any in the future and update one at a time, then activate when done updating (or yell at host for poor service or get a new one).
