I’m in the progress of moving my blog from *.wordpress.com to a self-hosted one. I’ve imported my old comments to my new blog, but haven’t made the switch yet (by buying a permanent redirect).
Trouble is, new comments have been posted to my old wordpress blog, that I want to import into my new one. Can I re-import the comments from my old blog without creating a bunch of duplicate comments?
If yes, do I need to keep anything in mind when I do it?
