Updating BPS via InfiniteWP

    Hi AITpro –

    You are probably familiar with the InfiniteWP script, which is a WordPress site manager http://infinitewp.com/

    From what I understand so far, there are no issues using InfiniteWP to update WordPress sites that have Bulletproof Security installed – this is consistent with my own use.

    The question I have is regarding using InfiniteWP to update BPS installations. Usually when I do an update to BPS, I visit each WP site’s admin area and do the update through the WP update function. Works great, and then there is always that message at the top of the dashboard from BPS about needing to reload the BPS page (or something like that). I know that you now have the autolock feature working for the plugin updates – so that won’t be an issue.

    Sorry for the rambling… So, the question: If I use the time saving InfiniteWP to update the BPS plugins on all my WP sites at once, will I be done with the updates in just that one click – or am I going to have to visit each WP site anyway to re-load the BPS page so the plugin is working as it should???

    I hope that makes sense. Again, sorry for the rambling nature of this question.

    Nope you do not actually need to visit the site(s) and refresh the page(s)/reload the page(s) when you see the “…refresh the page…” message that BPS generates. The alert lingers behind due to the way the BPS update/upgrade code/function is processed. The alert is only there so that folks do not freak out when they see the alert and it gives them a hint that if they refresh their browser/the page then the alert messages will go away.
