For awhile now, whenever I use the 'update' feature to automatically update my plugins, the update stalls (never says 'complete!') and then the plugin does not appear in the plugin list.
When I update the plugin via downloading/FTP up, it updates perfectly, no problem.
Any others with this problem?

@Joe, I am having a similar problem. Every time I try and update a plugin it stalls. However, if I refresh the page or relaunch the browser the plugin is there and seems to be updated. At this point my site and admin back end give a "site is down for maintenance" error. I have to log into the server and remove a .maintenance file to get everything back online.
