Going to <Updates> from the Dashboard pop-out menu results in this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_version_check() in /var/www/vhosts/missgiggles.com/httpdocs/blog/wp-admin/update-core.php on line 394
Both update-core.php and update.php look to be intact. I've tried deactivating all of my plug-ins and that does not make a difference.
Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.

It's strange how that works. Didn't the first time. Did the second.
Now to figure out how I killed the RSS feed this weekend.

Replacing wp-includes folder with a new one solved the problem for me!
