Updated wordpress and lost all changes to site

I just upgraded to the new version of wordpress and I lost all of the changes that I had made to the site in editor. Is there a way to revert or get those edits back because I spent a lot of time doing them. It is weird that wordpress does not tell you that you could loose all this these edits if you upgrade.

Please help, i greatly appreciate it.
