Updated to wordpress 3.6.1 WP wont allow copy & paste URL in insert/ edit link

    I updated to wordpress 3.6.1 this version wont allow a copy & paste URL into the insert/ edit link dialog box. Will this be fixed in the next Update?

    I didn’t change any settings, add tools or plugins. It just won’t allow a copy saved link paste into the Enter the destination URL into the URL box.

    I can cut and paste text, URL address directly into the Edit post Text and Visual with out an issue. It will allow creating the link using html code eg <a href="http://www.2dgraphicdesign.ie/">2D Graphic Design</a> in text.

    Do you mean inserting a link?

    Have you tried deactivating all plugins and switching to the default twentythirteen theme to see if any plugins or your theme is causing this?

    I tried changing the theme it didn’t solve the problem. Before messing with the plugins I tried a different browser. It seems there is some issue with the old version of safari I was using.
