I just upgraded to 2.9.2 and when I tried to insert anything with java in my widgets and hit save, the page wouldn't re-load and would just be stuck in a white screen. If I hit the back button or reload, none of my changes would stick. This only happens when I try to add javascript like hit-counters.
I'm using Firefox.
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
- trying a different javascript?

It's weird, in my admin panel they keep returning to 'unused widgets' with all the html, coding, images, whatever, still inside them. I don't get it.
I did de-activate one plugin though and that stopped the white-screen problem.
