    Hello,

Been using slideshow and very happy with it.

Using WP 3.4.2, updated slideshow to 2.1.16 in Development environment. Production environment at wordsfulloffeelings.specialwhite.com still working with 2.1.15.

In dev env, I got this error after updating that prevents the slideshow from showing correctly:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in …/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-jquery-image-gallery/classes/SlideshowPluginPostType.php on line 352

Deleted plugin, re-installed it but with no improvements.

Happens on frontend and backend while trying to edit slideshows. Slideshow data is not pulled from database.

    Can you provide some insight?

    Thanks,

    Pedro Branco

    Hi Pedro,

The error is probably caused by the slideshow’s setting data that’s become corrupt. The error should be prevented from occurring in the next version, but the settings data is probably reset.

To test if the error is now resolved, it would be wonderful if you could test it out by downloading and installing this version of the plugin and letting me know if it really did solve your problem. After that I’ll be able to safely release version 2.1.17.

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Stefan,

Slideshows are not displayed, but no errors are present.

My slideshows were now empty so I edited those and added new pics and links without problems. Despite this, images and links are not showing up in frontend. Slideshow images are not ok in backend.

In short, backend seems ok after adding new images and setting slideshows options. No output is displayed in frontend.

    Hi Pedro,

That’s strange, could I perhaps see the slideshow on your development environment?

I see that the only slideshow you’ve added images to, isn’t the slideshow you’re using on the page. The slideshow you use on the page is called ‘Teaser Português’.

When I added an image to it, it worked like it should.

I’m using 2 according to the category.

My bad. I’m glad it’s working properly.

    It’s resolved, then.

    Thanks for all your help.
