Updated theme, not cant get into site at all

    The theme we used had been discontinued so I tried to update to a new theme. Once I activated it, the site went balnk. I cant log into wordpress, nor is the site live anymore. The site did not have hte latest version of wordpress installed and it has never been backed up. What happened and how do I fix it?

    Try switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
