I logged in today and saw that three plugins needed to be updated. I did the update and immediately got this error.

Warning: require(/home/munger/public_html/leaninaction.com/wp-content/plugins/social-popup/WP_PLugin_Base.class.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/munger/public_html/leaninaction.com/wp-content/plugins/social-popup/social-popup.php on line 45

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/munger/public_html/leaninaction.com/wp-content/plugins/social-popup/WP_PLugin_Base.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/munger/public_html/leaninaction.com/wp-content/plugins/social-popup/social-popup.php on line 45

I get this when I go to the main domain

    leaninaction.com
    or leaninaction.com/wp-admin
    or leaninaction.com/wp-login.php

    Any ideas?

Looks like social popup plugin might be the issue. I was thinking about deleting it anyway.

Yes, it is the problem. Do you know how to access the files directly to delete it?

Is this safe? I found it in another post?

"FTP into your site (or whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the wp-content/plugins/imsccore folder."

Yes. cpanel through the host, or filezilla...yes, I could do that. Just don't know what to delete.

Yes, it is safe to delete the plugin directly. In the cPanel file manager, find wp-content/plugins. In that folder will be a social-popup folder, delete that.
