   IM Online Version 2.8 Released

   It's getting positively middle aged - IM Online Plugin/Widget has made it to Version 2.8 and counting.

   All major features to date:

   • Support for multiple user accounts per network
   • User-definable icons now available in Icon Packs.
   • Extra servers & fallback capability for reliability
   • Icons now clickable to send IM messages where supported
   • Displays network & username in tooltip on mouseover
   • Added support for those not using Widgets
   • AOL, MSN, Yahoo!, Skype, IRC, ICQ

   If you've not stumbled across it already take a look. All the feedback from these forums & elsewhere is much appreciated. Keep it (& the good ideas) coming folks. Partly because I'm running out :)

   and also i am online now in my msn and skype but not online in the script why?

   I can't seem to get any server to see my online status for both skype and google talk.

   It might be my fault for google as I'm not sure about what info to enter in the widget configuration (I put : myusername@gmail.com) but my info is definitely correct for skype.

   I should mention that the widget works fine for msn and yahoo!

   I found that the links on the site to the Icon Packs is not correct. The correct path for the Icon Packs is: http://www.mutube.com/icon-packs/

   Also is Google Talk supoorted with this plugin?

   I also discovered that the graphic does not display properly in IE7. But it works fine in IE6, Firefox , Safari, and Opera.

   I installed this on my site (running wp 2.1) and for some reason it wont' display the images on my sidebar on my status. it replaces them wiht txt substitutes that say "(chat client) status". I have the images in the right place in the directory. Anyone who can help with a clue to fix this I'd really appreciate it. You can see on the lower left sidebar where it doesnt' work at http://www.punkvinyl.com
