New to wordpress in general. I am using wordpress to manage a company intranet. It is installed on a windows server. When I am prompted to update wordpress to the latest edition, it prompts for the following credentials:

    Host Name

    FTP username

    FTP password

    Connection type: FTP or FTPS

Not sure what information needs to go into these fields. Someone please help me.

    Thank you.

FTP Username - A username with FTP access to your server
    Password (obvious)

Connection Type - Try FTP first.

You may have to ask your Windows Intranet guru what the ID/Password is if you dno't have it.

Is it the ID/Password for wordpress or the IIS server we are using to host on our network?
