   Updated to MU 2.8.4a over the weekend and now some of my blog titles and descriptions are showing up with a \ in front of any apostrophes. Note that this does not appear to be a problem in the post content.

   Here's an example: http://blogs.portorchardindependent.com/charlie/macombers-magic-potent-potter/38/

   It seems like an encoding error with just those fields. Has anyone else seen this?

   MySQL is at 5.0.45 an the MySQL charset is UTF-8.

   In mu? Never had myself but I don't use mu just the regular version of WordPress. Try http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/ and maybe someone can point out what's going on there.
