   Hi,
   I think I was using wordpress.org 3.1.4 when this all happened.

   I logged into my dashboard and saw there were some general plugin updates available and also a wordpress update.

   I clicked on the update wordpress now button (rather than download it) and my google chrome screen semi-circle began to turn.

   The next thing that happened I was directed to a blank page which had my blog address at the top http://www.robertfdrummond.com

   I have tried a few things since then, including a Bluehost restore but I get a blank page for my blog and when I try to login to admin.

   All help and ideas gratefully recieved.

   Try:
   - switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

   - re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.

   - re-running the upgrade manually using wp-admin/upgrade.php.

   I'm currently in the file management bit of Bluehost.

   I've got quite a few themes (including TwentyTen) in the wp-content/themes bit, so I can't rename the midnight blue folder - should I delete it??
