   Trying to ping a bunch of sites but it just doesn't work. I'm probably doing something wrong but I just can't seem to figure out what!

   I'm trying to ping the following but none of them seem to recieve my pings:

   http://rpc.twingly.com/
   http://nyligen.se/ping/
   http://rpc.pingomatic.com/
   http://www.nybloggat.se/ping/utan_kategori/
   http://ping.bloggnytt.se/
   http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2/
   http://ping.feedburner.com/
   http://www.nyhetsfilter.se/ping/
   http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping/
   http://ping.bloggnytt.se/
   http://search.tailsweep.com/xmlrpc.do/
   http://www.nybloggat.se/ping/hobby/
   http://ping.bloggportalen.se/BlogPortalPing/ping/31998/2918060/

   I mean none of them!

   Needless to say I have the following privacy setting "I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers".

   Have tried everything I know how to without success. The problem is most likely an easy one but with my limited knowledge I can't figure out what's wrong.

   Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

   (Have another blog that pings the exact same sites without any problem. The version of that blog is 2.0.11)

   I have the following plugins. Could the problem be caused by any of these?

   SimpleTags
   Secure and Accessible PHP Contact Form
   Get Recent Comments
   Akismet

   Very very greatful for any input that may help me resolve the issue!

   Tried turning of all the plugins without success. Manual pings works fine but not the automatic. Help!

   Are you still having problems with Twingly? One of my blogs (blogg1.no) are having problems after last WP update. No auto ping or manual ping.

   I meet the same problem in wordpress v2.6.3.

   do you guys have solve the issues ?
