   Hi - I'm fairly new to word press having a few probs withthe auto update procedure
   With me it gets this far

   Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.8.4.zip.

   Unpacking the update.

   Could not copy files.

   Installation Failed

   So is this a permissions thing? I'm running Ubuntu and php5

   Could someone let us know what the recomended permisisions should be for the directory structure?

   I have hacked away with chmod 777 on various folders - still no luck
   any thoughts appreciated.
