• Hello,

    My space has been hacked from a hole with Tiny_MCE from Zenphoto (that’s what I guess) and I had to reinstall everything and wordpress.

    I deleted all wp files except the wp-content but I empty the plugin folder. I have the same DDB that was originally from WPMU.

    I still can’t access to Network Update it goes to ERROR 310. I had the same problem after upgrading from MU to 3.2.1.
    The only success came with the solution from Amit Cohen: replacing the admin.php with:

    <?php
    /**
     * WordPress Network Administration Bootstrap
     *
     * @package WordPress
     * @subpackage Multisite
     * @since 3.1.0
     */

    define( 'WP_NETWORK_ADMIN', TRUE );

    /** Load WordPress Administration Bootstrap */
    require_once( dirname( dirname( __FILE__ ) ) . '/admin.php' );

    if ( ! is_multisite() )
    	wp_die( __( 'Multisite support is not enabled.' ) );

    if ( ! is_main_site() ) {
    wp_redirect( network_admin_url() );
    exit;
    }
    ?>

    This is not working anymore.

    Thank for helping or suggestion.

    A 310 is too many redirects.

    Are you going to your URL with or without a www?

    When I enter the dns with www it goest automatically without www.

    here you can see.

    Do you have a .htaccess redirect set up for the forcing of non-www?

    Thread Starter zedrino

    (@zedrino)

    # BEGIN WordPress
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    # BEGIN WordPress
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # uploaded files
    RewriteRule ^files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$1 [L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]
    # END WordPress

    I don’t really know.

    Thank you for your continuous support Ipstenu !

    Oh.

    Well you do have a weird double up. Change it to JUST this:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # uploaded files
    RewriteRule ^files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$1 [L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]
    # END WordPress

    Rahh,
    the same ! Too bad ! I was sure that you found the trick ! I even reset safari to try from a fresh browser but still redirect problem.

    Is that not wired ?

    Then I only have wp-content from WPMU and the Data base.

    Do you think the structure of the DB is normal ? (sorry for the long post).
    Thanks for your help.

    AΓ―e AΓ―e.
    I have to tell you that when I tried to install a fresh WP 3.3 with my original DB it says that the DB was broken, then tried to repair it with no success.

    After that I think I just went to admin and it worked ok with the problem on network admin…

    Sometimes the repair gets stupid… Is it working now?

    Sorry but still the same:

    I was asking cause when you said this, you confused me.

    After that I think I just went to admin and it worked ok with the problem on network admin…

    Okay. What I would do is look for any instance of www in the tables wp_site and wp_blogs. See if you have www in front of your domain there.

    Thread Starter zedrino

    (@zedrino)

    No www in wp_site and no www in wp_blogs.

    May be I could create an other admin user… or add www everywhere ?

    Thread Starter zedrino

    (@zedrino)

    The admin user is the only one with the right on Network admin…

    Finally I don’t think adding www is a good idea because I’m using subdomain address for the multi blog.

    I don’t know what to do.

    Moderator Ipstenu (Mika Epstein)

    Well, no, you don’t want to add in www. I was saying if it was there, remove it.

    Honestly, I don’t know what’s causing that either :/

    Hi Ipstenu,

    My space is still hacked then I will reinstall everything once again, I wonder what is the minimum info I need from the wp_content (most of the file there are rotten) to make the multi-site work.

    May be it’s because of something in this folder that I have a problem with the Network Admin…

    Thank you
