update-links.php and plugin help

I have a list of links on my site. I want them to be ordered according to when they are updated, so I’ve installed the wp-cron and update-links plugins. However, it’s not working with WP 2.0. When I run my wp-admin/update-links.php it says “feature disabled.” What am I doing wrong?
