   So, I decided to upgrade to 3.1.1 today, by an easy button click to upgrade. Wich I thought was ok, since it's an upgrade..

   Well...

   Click upgrade, and nothing happens... Nothing at all...
   So, after a few min, with nothing happening, I try to enter my domain on another tab in my browser, where it says it's temporarily down for planned maintenance or something like that in norwegian.

   And now it's stuck there, nothing happens.. at all... do I have to remake the entire site now? Or what? Cause this is somewhat pissing me off...

   Well, it's up again. But thanks for wiping all my CSS and all my self written parts into the theme.. Really.. Thanks...

   Look into child themes. This will prevent you from losing your custom changes. If you don't use a child theme then you will lose your changes every update.
