This is the error message I am getting when I click on either "Plugins (7)" or "Installed"

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare uninstall_plugin() in /home/csl/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/pluginstaller/uninstall.php on line 14

I upgraded last night and did in fact disable all plugins before updating. After I went to enable the plugins and it gave me an error message (which I wish I wrote down). This morning I come to this error which is different. Last night I could see a list of all the plugins at least. I also saw something that told me to update the plugins but I got an error when I pressed that as well. All that I had access to last night I don't today.

If I go to Edit plugins I can see that the plugins are active although I don't know how they got that way.

Probably better to just delete the plugin folder (wp-content/plugins/pluginstaller) using FTP or your host's file manager.

Newbie question- after I delete it I will need to re-download the plugins, right? Also, are blog stats a plugin or a built in feature?

If you are referring to this plugin, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pluginstaller/ you don't need that with the newer versions of WordPress as that ability is native to WordPress.
