[resolved] Update failed and then completed (2 posts)

    The message "An automated WordPress update has failed to complete - please attempt the update again now." will not clear even though the update has successfully completed.
    What do I need to remove to clear this message?

    Problem resolved. Went to wp-admin/maint and removed file.
