after updating from 2.6.5 to 2.7, i got this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_remote_request() in \httpdocs\same-as-it-ever-was\wp-includes\update.php on line 58

and if i refresh the page, i've seen this one too...

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_remote_post() in \httpdocs\same-as-it-ever-was\wp-includes\cron.php on line 201

    any ideas?

    thanks in advance!

All of WrdPresses functions are already defined in one file or another. Something is missing from your install. Upload everything again. Be sure to upload the functions file, too. Make sure to disable your plugins while upgrading, too.

I uploaded all the files in the root like gas01ine said, I've uploaded, deleted and reuploaded 2 or 3 times now and keep getting the same errors as above! I'm frustrated! Please help!

either all of the files are not uploaded or a plugin is whacking things. Are plugins deactivated?

no, I didn't get to deactivate all my plugins because when I transferred my blog from blogger, some how it messed up all of my WP sites. The two I was able to fix are subdomains of this one that I'm having issues with.

I didn't initially start out trying to upgrade to 2.7. I was just trying to fix the error, which was error trying to establish a database connection, which is the same error I was able to fix on my other two.

I've probably really messed the whole thing up. Is there any way you guys can go in my site and take a look?

I went here to see if it could help. But, I really have no idea what all that means. Maybe you can take a look and decipher it?
