[resolved] Update Error (10 posts)

I have created my packages, created a database and user, checked the database access with Duplicator and ran deployment successfully. However, when I Update, I get an error:

    STEP2: UPDATE ERRORS (0)
Errors that show here are the result of queries that could not be performed.
    No MySQL query errors found
    TABLE KEY ERRORS (0)
A primary key is required on a table to efficiently run the update engine. Below is a list of tables and the rows that will need to be manually updated. Use the query below to find the data.
    SELECT @row := @row + 1 as row, t.* FROM some_table t, (SELECT @row := 0) r
    No missing primary key errors
    SERIALIZATION ERRORS (0)
Use the SQL below to display data that may have not been updated correctly during the serialization process.
    No serialization errors found

I also had an error in the log that said I should check the permissions on installer-sql.php but they are fine. When I get the option to include my plugins, there are none found and none are installed by Duplicator. I just can't get past the Update phase.

If you want to submit your logs to the ticket system I can look at them closer, please do not submit them on the forums as they contains sensitive data...

I have to apologize, I have screwed up both the old and new installations of wp in my public_html folder. I am reinstalling wp in the old folder and will try to import the backup file. Not a good day. I will get back to you when I go through the Duplicator process. Thank you.

This time I have an error after the deployment. Where do I find the ticket system?

    Hi decwodie,

You can get to it through this link:
    http://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator

It is a free support system so it does sometimes take a few days before I can get to your item... Also don't forget about the FAQ page which has many helpful tips for common issues...

    Cheers~

I posted the problem to the ticket system. At first I had a problem with the deployment but hadn't removed the wp folder in the root folder so don't pay attention to the first log. I re-ran the deployment, which worked fine but the Update still won't complete. I posted the log in the ticket. Also, I can get to the website but not to the wp-admin login page.
    ticket # HLQ-3LG-MPPR

Thanks for any and all help.

Everything is working now except the plugins. When I try to activate a plugin, any plugin, I get an error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 83640 bytes) in path/admin-header.php on line 186

I added this to the ticket system with the full path. Ticket #G3Q-VRP-MYMW

This is weird: now I'm getting the same memory size errors when trying to navigate the admin area (I was just working in wp-admin):
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in path/wp-admin/menu.php on line 220

    Hey decwodie,

Those issues are not Duplicator related. I would checkout some work-arounds like the on on this thread:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-allowed-memory-size-of-33554432-bytes-exhausted-2?replies=24

    Hope that helps!
