I also have this problem! Please help! I cannot access the WP Control Panel at all!
Seem lot of people having same trouble…. I have disabled all plugin and returned to basic theme but still no help.
@krishna…I don’t think so fella!
After a little research in this forum I found that all that was needed was to use PHPmyadmin to manually edit the wp_options table to make the current database version 22442. Immediate access again.
So I assume someone will create a fix and another update soon???
I am also getting the same 404 from the login page after upgrading to WordPress 3.5.2 from 3.5.1.
I run a WordPress mulitisite system on a dedicated GoDaddy server. Yesterday I ran a WordPress update from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2 and now if I try to login to any of my sites, I get a 404 page.
I’ve tried replacing the wp-admin folder, renaming the plugins folder, replacing the wp-login.php file, deleting the .htaccess file. Nothing is working.
I also checked the file permissions on wp-admin and the wp-login.php. Those are OK too.
I also ran the sitecheck.sucuri.net and my site is “Verified Clean”.
Oh, and I also verified the domain in the database using PhpMyAdmin to look up the “wp_options” “siteurl”.
And I verified that the “db_version” was “22442”. 🙁
@Adendum and @Troy Dunn,
Please start your own topics. Your problems are not the same despite the similarities you claim.

But there is still no help of my error. The upgrade / update pages still showing up a WordPress logo only.

@krishna
1. The original post WAS identical to my problem.
2. I found a solution in this forum that required a small update to a database table and that resolved the problem.
3. I have now updated 6 different client sites today. Only the first site had this issue, so I assume some change has already been made to the update files.
4. You may be a moderator but you jumped in with a “you’ve been hacked” scare post which was unnecessary, uncalled for and in my humble opinion ill advised.
The original post WAS identical to my problem.
No. Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster.
I assume some change has already been made to the update files.
No. The upgrade files have not been changed. Out of the hundreds of thousands of users you had a problem with one site. That is called a local issue.
you jumped in with a “you’ve been hacked” scare post which was unnecess
No. The OP confirmed the site had malware.
@eggstudio
Try
Deactivating your plugins by ftp or the file manager by changing the name of the plugins folder to plugins-old. If that works activate them one by one until you find the problem.
Switch theme to twentytwelve (just for a moment) by using ftp or the file manager on your hosted account to change the name of the current theme. That should force wp to open with the default theme.
And eggstudio, please stop posting in multiple threads. When you have a problem start your own post.
Hi,
I have rename the plugin folder and theme folder (I currently use Platform, then I have renamed to nnn-platform)
But it doesn’t help. Now when I go back to my site http://www.eggstudio.com, a blank page shows up. Does it mean theme “twentytwelve” is not loaded ??
Thanks for help~~
Kay
I run a number of sites, and this problem only occurred with one of them. Strange.
The only way I could solve it was by installing a backup though the blogvault service.
I know that does not help any of you who not take backups or use a backup service, but I suppose the real lesson to be learned is not to install WordPress upgrades until the bugs have been sorted out. This is the last time I will rush in to upgrade first thing…

Same here. Back end is not accessable. It leads to page not found page on every link.
