As the first troubleshooting step, try clearing your browser cache and cookies and then logging in again.
What exactly happens when you try to log in? Does it shake? Does it go to a white screen? Do you see any errors? If so, what are the errors you see?

I also am curious, what is the specific error message you get when you attempt to login? Invalid username, invalid password? Etc
Yes, the specific error was “invalid username.” I’ll toss my cookies and cache and see what happens. It’s probably user error but I can’t figure it out just yet.

I have an ill feeling about what went wrong, but considering you have been the only report, I’m hoping I’m wrong. If you delete register-plus-redux.php from your wp-content\plugins\register-plus-redux\ folder can you login?
No that doesn’t help. But I just looked at my admin account in MySQL and the username has been wiped out.
Oddly enough, I update another one of my sites at the same time as this one and only this one was affected. Fortunately, it was a site, I’m not really interested in keeping around much longer but still.
I edited the username to add admin back in but now it tells me I don’t have permission to view the dashboard.
Ok. Once I deleted the plugin file and fixed the user and usermeta records, I was able to log back in.

When you originally updated Redux, were there other plugins you updated at the same time? I’m wondering if there was some conflict… I ask because there have been over 700 downloads since the new version was released and yours is the only one I’ve heard about blowing up.
Although there was another plugin waiting to update, I only ran the update for Redux. It is still waiting to be updated.

I’ll have to consider this a fluke. If there was a more widespread problem I would have heard of it by now. I’m sorry for your inconvenience in any event.
