Not exactly sure what you are asking, but I will take a stab at it. If you are asking how to get Upcoming Events, there are two places them: in a page/post or in a sidebar. To place your Upcoming Events in a sidebar, open WP and go to the dashboard. From there, mouse over Appearance and click on Widgets. Towards the bottom of the next screen, you will see a section entitled ‘Inactive Widgets’ and under that, you will see Upcoming Events. Simply drag that to where you want the events to appear (I have mine in the Secondary Widget area (right side)) and that’s it.
Assuming you have the ai1ec installed, setup and populated with events, they should appear in the Upcoming Events area. Note that after you place the Upcoming Events widget where you want them to appear, you have some options you can tweak, such as Number of events or number of days to display. You can also restrict what displays to certain categories, tags or events.
