   Hi there,

   Does anyone have a link to any up to date tutorials on converting an HTML template into a WordPress theme easily and nicely?

   The last time I did this was about 5 years ago or more and a lot seems to have changed. I tried Googling but most of the tutorials I found aren't so recent.

   Anyone have a recent one?

   So I found this tutorial:

   But if I implement it, then all works fine but my sidebar and my footer do not get loaded?

   Could it be due to the loop that's used in this tutorial?
