I don't know what's going on here. I'm trying to create a site using the straight twentyeleven theme which was working fine until last night. Now, rather than a drop down menu as I wanted, the sub pages are appearing on the nav bar, and I can't seem to get them off and back to the drop down menu.
I've tried creating a custom menu and that doesn't work either.
Although I have used wordpress a fair bit, I've never tinkered with the code side of it.

The appearance and functionality of drop-down menus are achieved through JavaScript or CSS.
