Unwanted Home Page Redirect (3 posts)

    I recently switched from Blogger to WordPress and was really excited about the change. Things were going great and my site was looking better than ever. Then, suddenly, my home page stopped working. It took on a BIZARRE change. It now redirects to my old blogger url, which attempts to redirect back to my new wordpress site. I just obtained a chunk of new readers with the new site and new content, and I am positive I am losing them rapidly. I need to fix this ASAP but I don't know how.

    For reference, I have disabled ALL plugins and this was still occurring. I'm really at a loss here, and my internet research today has turned up diddley-squat.

    My site can be found here:

    Thanks,

    Check the 'head' section of the 'header.php' file for your theme. It may be that you have a 'meta refresh tag' in there, something like:

    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="[value of delay in secs];url=[url of your blog]" />

    Or, the equivalent via javascript:

    <script language="javascript"><!--
    location.replace("[url of your blog]")
    //-->
    </script>

    After backing up 'header.php'(! - just in case) delete such lines, and see what happens.
