   I just activated the theme Revolution Code Blue 2.0 by Brian Gardner and it placed a green ad banner place holder on the top of the home page. How can I get rid of that?

   not familiar with theme but looks like a header widget
   dashboard - appearance - widgets
   either remove it or replace with your own

   if that's not it, the image is here
   http://www.greatercincyhomes.com/wp-content/themes/revolution-code-blue/images/468x60.gif
   just remove it and the call for it in theme's header.php

   Does the theme have a banner ad management plugin or function?

   You might be able to switch it off in theme settings under the appearance box in wp-admin.

   Thank you both so much. I am brand new to this and so far, I have been unable to find anything relevant in the dashboard to fix it. I will try your suggestions and hope that does it. Thanks again.
