Unused Sidebars (6 posts)

    Hi all-

I'm using the Suffusion theme and as a result, I have entirely too many unused sidebar/widget areas. I just counted them and I have 37 of them lining my right hand margin. I only need a few of them, and the ones I need are located--wait for it--at the bottom of my trove of widget areas.

How can I remove the ones that I know I'll never used? From what I gather, I have to go into my theme files and do something, but I'm not exactly sure.

Can I get some help please?
As always, any help or insight is appreciated.

(Mods, if I put this in the wrong place, please move it to the correct board.)

If you delete the content of the widgets, do they not go away?

I'm referring to the widget/sidebar areas. I have 10 MegaMenu Widget areas, 5 Ad Hoc Widget areas, 5 Custom Layout Widget areas, etc., etc....
    But thanks for responding.

Yowza, I just downloaded Suffusion and see way more sidebar files and code than I'm prepared to help with. If someone doesn't come along to answer this question you should have better luck on the support page for that theme: http://wordpress.org/support/theme/suffusion

Actually, the best place for help with Suffusion is on the dedicated forums here:
