• Hoping the developer will see this since I just saw they did a round of responses three weeks ago. I love your plugin and just donated $10 to you (proof!)

Even though I love it there is a flaw. Auto resize is not working and never was for me. I got around it with my own CSS coding but unfortunately that caused two big problems (even though the site looks ok). You can see the site here: http://www.scatvsomerville.org
    1. Images are losing resolution because I set a width. If I put a 700px width image into a 700px space the resolution is terrible. I have to put a 3000px image into a 700px space for it to look good.
    2. The site info will not show up because of this CSS fix. When I remove my width the image will shrink and the site info will reappear.

I just tore out my code and went through a clean install of the plugin and it’s core files on a default site. I couldn’t get it to work so I came to the forums.

If anyone else has run into this problem please help!

    Hi megart04 !

The autoresize calculate the size for the slider, not for your images. WordPress create thumbnails on upload at the size you’ve just entered on the plugin options. If the width/height ratio is not respected, WordPress will cut your image. If your image is too small or too big (width or height), it will fit the best way it can (cut / reduce size to fit width / height).
In brief, your images needs to be bigger or at the same size you’ve entered on your options, not smaller.

    I tried to make a schema… Look here 😉

And here is an example of what you can do when you try to fit a square image in a rectangle :

    Hope it helps :).

Wait, you aren’t pickin’ up what I’m putting down. This is the link to my default site: http://meaganobrien.com/scatv/

I just inserted two featured images (the first two in the slider).
The first image is for Annual Meeting and is 960×539
The second image is for New Equipment and is 5184×2192

Both 960 and 5184 should fit the width of my slider which is only 700px but the 960px does not fit. Why is that?

Hmmm strange it seems to work fine for me. Both images fit the slider area.

Im having the same trouble here. http://queencitysports.net
