• My very first two orders showed up as Cancelled in WooCommerce Orders, yet the PayPal payment was processed with the note:

    Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. Order status changed from pending to cancelled.

    I’ve searched Google and found 1 meaningful post that referenced that “error” and thought it may have to do with the Hold Stock setting. My Inventory Hold Stock is set at 60 minutes.

    Even so, even if the order did time out, then why were they able to place the order at all through PayPal?

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

  • Scruffy1 is having the same problem. I would like to hear the answer from Woo Ninjas. What type of merchant account do you have? PayPal Standard or PayPal Pro?

    Apologies for not getting back sooner.

    I may have fixed this problem by setting up PayPal Instant Payment Notifications. I went to PayPal/MyAccount/Profile/SellingPreferences/InstantPaymentNotificationPreferences and followed the instructions from Woo at http://docs.woothemes.com/document/paypal-standard/#section-3.

    I’ll write back if I experience the problem again, but maybe this will fix Scruffy1’s problem.
