    I'm trying to place html text on the homepage in Two Columns - Region 1 using Nusantara theme.

    The text is in, but I can't get bullets properly using the {left bracket}
    ul {right bracket} tag. The list items do not have bullet graphics on the left, the paragraphs are not indented, and (most importantly) every line of text has a line graphic below it!

    How do I get rid of the line graphics and format a list normally?

    Using a tool like firebug will be immensely useful for CSS work - it shows these styles for the list:

    .line li {
        border-bottom: 1px solid #999999;
        font-size: 0.95em;
        padding-bottom: 7px;
        padding-top: 7px;
    }

    The circle bullet in the first list is inline so you did you select that formatting for the list in your editor:

    <ul style="list-style-type:circle;">

    To make changes to CSS, you should use a custom CSS option or plugin - the you can add styles without losing them when the theme is updated:

    If you want to add regular bullets, add this:

    ul {
        list-style-type:outside disc;
    }

    To change the lines, add:

    .line li {
        border: 0;
    }

    Thank you!
    I only want to change the list format for the small bit of text, not globally. I think that the borders separate individual Recent Posts, etc. and are useful there. But in the one text box, I would like to have a typical bulleted list text format. Is there a way to only change the list locally, e.g., within a DIV?

    Playing around, I got something that worked by using this inside the text area:

    <ul style="list-style-type: disc;">
    <ul style="border-bottom: 0;">

    The bottom lines are still elsewhere, so it looks like this works.

    Thank you!
