• After upgrading to version 3.2 I am now getting the following error message: RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Too many redirects.
I have deactived and reactive my plugins one by one. Also my host has the requirements needed for the upgrade. Anyone know how to fix this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried all of the troubleshooting methods that you suggested, but none of them worked. Any other options that you know of?

My webhost and support for my theme have both looked at my blog and I still don’t have any answers for this problem. I guess I should switch back to the previous version. Does anyone know how to do this?

what’s the link of your RSS feed? i’ve definitely seen this problem in WordPress 3.2 when the feed uses a custom permalink (i.e. http://www.example.com/customcategory/feed). still looking into why it’s happening but a workaround is to use the non-custom permalink version of the feed – http://www.example.com/feed/cat=2. i don’t get this with my other sites on WP 3.2 though.
