Unknown Emails 'Breaking' Site Creation

    This may be an area that could be addressed in a WordPress update. If I create a child site and use an email of a nonexistent user (as when I mistakenly entered the wrong domain name), the child site will be created, but the parent site owner cannot access it.

    Yes, that’s true. If you tell WP that a non existent email is the admin of a site, only the non existent email is the admin.

    You would have to manually add the right person and make them admin.
