   Does WordPress have something built in the software that will enable me (not my readers) to see the number of unique visitors (and/or page views) that I have had? This is very important because we are about to change the blog and we want to see the effects.

   Short answer: No.
   A bit longer: http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Statistics
   Very long: a blog is a website as any other. There a tons of methods for tracking your visitors on a website. Google for it. Look around in your site/host administration. And don't ask non-WP related questions.

   Hey Taltalk, thanks for asking the question that was on the tip of my tongue and getting the answer I was looking for. I guess it WAS a WordPress related post/question afterall!
