    Gentlemen,
Would like to allow clients to log into their individual unique accounts from an access page in my corporate WordPress website.

Have checked forums, "eHow" and Google, but have not been able to come up with the proper extension.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Not getting what you mean exactly. You can already create individual accounts including respective passwords and then email them with the log in information by default.

Want only Client #1 on a "log-in" page within the site to be able to access pages exclusive to Client #1....

Guess I haven't studied the password protocol... Is there a "step-by-step" guide for this somewhere??

Want only Client #1 on a "log-in" page within the site to be able to access pages exclusive to Client #1..

This really depends on what kind of "pages" you want to show your clients. You can password-protect a Page within "Publish" box in Page Write/Edit panel or in Post Write/Edit Panel, then send the password to specific client so he/she can view the page without requiring him/her to log in.

    Adding new users via Dashboard
Dashboard > Users > Add New - enter email address and password

Thank you for the speedy response. My intent is from a common "client log-in page", take each individual client to his own personal index page from which he could access either HTML pages, PDF files, and video files unique to his account. In other words, a secure, private library for each client accessible from his personal index page which would be accessible from a common log-in page.

I could do as you suggest and give each client access to his unique index page URL, but that's not too classy.

Like I said, I don't know what kind of "pages" you want to show your client and in what kind of field you and your client are in.

Personally, I have multisite (nee WPMU) installations and it's one site per client. Use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/more-privacy-options/ and choose option `#2 Blog visible only to registered users of blog - "Blog Members Only" and you can invite the client by sending him the URL, his/her username and password which you create from the specific site's admin dashboard.
