Uninstall & re-install (2 posts)

I am really new to blogging online & recently installed word press, but accidentally added it to an extended domain name.

I was told by my hosting manager (crazy domains) to uninstall it & re-install it, which I think I have done. I logged into the Control Panel & clicked on un-install wordpress.

I receive this message for my admin url 'Not Found. The requested URL /savisavings/wp-admin/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.'

But I also receive this message when I try to re-install word press:
'The installation can not be completed: You chose to install in the main directory of the domain savisavings.com.au, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain savisavings.com.au (path="/home/savis9v7/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
    index.php'

I'm not sure what I have to do to manually remove the files. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

    Thankyou

Use ftp or sign in to your hosted account and delete index.php

You should delete any wordpress files under public.html and if this is a new install the database also.
