"Unexpected error occurred" @ Plugins. Help!

    I’ve been getting this message on my site (and other of my sites) since yesterday when I try to search for a new plugin to install:
    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

    I checked my computer security settings and “firewall” is off.

    This is a server issue – commonly caused by a failure to compile PHP with cUrl. Contact your hosts about it.
