Uneditable Custom Post Fields (3 posts)

Is there a way that I can have the custom fields be uneditable and fixed?

The bulk of the post on my blog will be in the following format:

    Position: blah blah blah
    Description: blah balh blah
    Contact: email@email.com

I would like the user to be able to just enter the data for the pre-assigned fixed keys, and not be able to add/change the meta keys.

    Possible?

Good question! Textpattern has the custom field settings in the admin area instead of right there in the post, which means only someone with admin level could change them. Maybe there's a way to set custom fields as unwritable based on user levels?
