have successfully installed wordpress on two servers
but in my latest attempt on a new server got this error message
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: apply_filters() in /home/mysite/public_html/wordpress/wp-blog-header.php on line 90

Posted 6 years ago #try reinstalling it -- delete all your wp files except the wp-content directory and wp-config.php. then reupload the files.
