   Hello,

   Is there a way to unattach files from posts without deleting them? Plugin perhaps?

   I find it much easier to spew out the all the thumbnail images that are related to a post than one-by-one "insert to post". But when I want to take some images out of that post and still keep the image cause it's attached to another post.

   I found very little info on this one and no topics in forum. Someone posted a idea to ideas http://wordpress.org/extend/ideas/topic.php?id=3338#post-14112

   Hi there :)

   I've been working on my "File Gallery" plugin for a while now and it's available for download and testing from here: http://skyphe.org/code/wordpress/file-gallery/

   Among other features, you can use it to detach (unattach) attachments from posts.
