Hello all. I'm new here and decided to join here because I felt as though I might be able to find a solution to my problem.
At this point in time, I am running wordpress remotely AND locally via XAMPP. I am able to view the installed theme for WordPress locally, however, I have been told by persons who have viewed my site, that they aren't seeing the theme that I installed, even though I can see it clearly in my browser on the local network that I am on. I've been trying to chase down the problem for hours, with no luck whatsoever and I've run out of ideas. I don't know if this has happened to anyone before, and if so, can someone please tell me what I might be doing wrong and how to correct it? I don't have this trouble with my other site, just with WordPress.
Thank you.
Can you post a link to the site? Unfortunately, the description doesn't offer much to go on.

ok. I will get right on it. The site is: http://kizr.no-ip.org/ulx. I am currently running it from my laptop using XAMPP. I am hoping that there is a solution to the problem. Due to the problem, I haven't gone far with it because it would be wasted effort.
That's because everything is being referenced from localhost. You may have the theme files on your localhost, but I certainly don't, which is why I don't see any theme formatting or images.
Try going to Settings/General in your admin panel and change the two URL values to http://kizr.no-ip.org/ulx . It may or may not work depending on how the domain is setup.

I think you made we realize what I did wrong. I was supposed to put the IP address on my location as the two URL values. Instead I put a path re-director. Thank you very much for your help. =)
